Mary Allyson Lowry, M.D.
Pediatric Gastroenterologist
Dr. Mary Allyson Lowry is a Pediatric Gastroenterologist with her primary clinic at our main office in Flowood as well as a satellite clinic in Oxford, MS. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Physics, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Mississippi and went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Upon completing medical school, Dr. Lowry fulfilled her Pediatric Residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and also completed a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the Monroe Carrell, Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. She is board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Dr. Lowry holds numerous awards including the North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition Society Fellows Research Award, Washington, DC; 2015. She remains actively involved in research and is currently a member of the Eosinophilic GI Disorders special interest group. She has an extensive list of professional association memberships and has given platform presentations at several national conferences including NASPGHAN and Digestive Disease Week.
