Shuja Yousuf, M.D., FACP
Dr. Yousuf was born and raised in Kashmir. He graduated
from Government Medical College, Srinagar, India. After finishing medical school, he
worked as a research associate at Stanford University School of Medicine, California.
He completed his Residency and Chief Residency at Saint Luke’s Hospital/Temple
University. He worked as an internist and hospitalist for several years before pursuing
his fellowship in Gastroenterology at University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is
board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Yousuf is practicing
Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine with GI associates.
Dr. Yousuf is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at William Carey School of Medicine. He
is the immediate past Chief of Medical Staff at Merit Health Rankin Medical Center. He
served as committee chair for CME at University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr.
Yousuf has also been awarded with the title of Fellow American College of Physicians.
Dr. Yousuf is an active member of American College of physicians, American Medical
Association and American College of Gastroenterology. He also is life member of
Imamia Medics International and KASHMER (Kashmiri American Society for Healthcare
Medical Education and Research).
